Character and Competence

I get to look at lots of marketing from real estate agents and companies. It is astonishing how much of it lacks a direct purpose. There are only two things that prospects are looking for from a real estate professional. The first is competence – can you do the job? The second is character – do you care and will client enjoy the experience? Any other messages are confusing, diluting and unnecessary.
When you next pick up your marketing material, look at it and ask yourself – “What is the message?” “What does this make me feel?” and finally “What should I do now?”
